 Tony Szik, Founder and OwnerCornerstone Windows founder and owner, Tony Szik, has been installing windows for as long as he can remember. When asked to estimate how many he has personally installed Tony answers, "thousands." As owner, Tony wears many hats during the course of the day, but he's never far from getting "hands on" during an installation. "My guys know how picky I am," Szik says. "My standards during every aspect of the job are high. We show up on time, get the job done on time and clean up. We treat our customers’ homes like they're our own." Tony adds that everyone on the job is a full-time Cornerstone employee. "We don't use sub-contractors."  Our ReputationWhen it comes to a local business such as Cornerstone, reputation is paramount to its continued growth. "A high percentage of our business comes from referrals," Tony says. "A referral is the highest compliment a customer can make. I encourage people to check out our work." Consistent Growth Cornerstone's business has grown consistently over years. As result, the company has recently moved to a newly expanded showroom in the Southwood Shopping Center in Torrance.  Easy GoingThe driving force to any business is sales, but Cornerstone's approach remains low key. "No high pressure from our guys. We come in, find out what the potential customer wants, educate them on the options and work out a proposal," Tony says. "After that we let the people decide for themselves." Community Involvement Community is important to Tony Szik. "I live and work here and my sons go to school here. It's important to be involved. We support many of the local high schools and other groups as best we can." |
